Tools Programmer (Anvil Pipeline) at Ubisoft in Canada.

Responsibilities

  • You work alongside artists and designers, which allows you to truly understand the basis of their requests. It is thanks to your creativity that you find appropriate solutions for each problem. You make recommendations to improve systems and you keep documentation clear.
  • You regularly collaborate with programmers and tool support specialists to resolve bugs. You discuss your respective innovations and learning with your peers in the tools community.
  • What you bring to the team
  • At least 5 years of programming experience, ideally in the video game field or any other relevant experience
  • A diploma in computer science, software engineering or any equivalent training
  • Excellent command of C#; knowledge of C++, WPF or SQL is an asset
  • A good spirit of analysis and synthesis as well as an eye for detail
  • The ability to work in a team and good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Autonomy, curiosity and resourcefulness
  • Flexibility in the organization of work allowing adaptation to changes
  • Development experience on a game engine (Scimitar/Anvil) (important asset)
