Role Summary
We are seeking a highly proactive Test Technician to join our next-generation Bluetooth (IoT) tag manufacturing team. The primary objective of the position is to ensure that automatic testing equipment and machines operate optimally, are reliable and accurate. You will be a key player in ensuring compliance with production goals, keeping the scrap indicator under control and ensuring the correct flow of the area's technical documentation.
Technical Knowledge
Management of measurement equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, etc.).
Diagnosis and repair of faults in automatic or semi-automatic test stations.
Understanding electrical and electronic diagrams.
Soft Skills: High sense of urgency, focus on problem solving (Troubleshooting), teamwork and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Equipment Maintenance and Reliability: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of testing machines, ensuring their calibration, repeatability and availability for production lines.
- Compliance with Production Objectives: Actively support the fulfillment of the daily production plan, minimizing downtime generated by failures in the test stations.
- Scrap Control and Reduction: Monitor test yields, diagnose false machine rejections, and collaborate on root cause analysis to reduce Bluetooth tag scrap.
- Documentation and Quality: Generate, update and keep up to date calibration records, maintenance logs, failure reports and the technical documentation required under the company's quality standards.
- Technical Support: Provide quick assistance to online operators in the event of failures in test systems and escalate complex problems to the Engineering area.
Requirements
Requirements and Candidate Profile
- Education: Higher University Technician (TSU) in Electronics, Mechatronics, Automation or related field.
- Experience: Recent graduate or similar positions within the electronic manufacturing industry (Experience with radio frequency (RF), Bluetooth or IoT devices is desirable).
