Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automated Quality Assurance (AQA) Engineer to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for automating the testing of our API and backend systems to ensure their quality, reliability, and performance. You will play a key part in driving the success of our projects by utilizing your knowledge of Python, the Pytest framework, and Postman, with a particular focus on web service testing. Experience with AWS and performance testing tools like JMeter will be highly advantageous. Responsibilities - Develop and maintain automated test scripts for API and backend systems using Python and the Pytest framework

• Conduct web service testing, ensuring APIs meet functional, performance, and security requirements
• Work with Postman to test and validate APIs as part of the automation process
• Collaborate with the development and DevOps teams to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline
• Perform performance testing of web services using JMeter and analyze results to ensure optimal system performance
• Document and report test cases, test results, and issues found during testing
• Participate in scrum ceremonies and contribute to the improvement of testing practices within the team
• Utilize Azure DevOps (ADO) for managing testing workflows and tracking progress

Requirements - Strong proficiency in Python, with hands-on experience in web service automation using the Pytest framework

• Solid understanding of web service testing, including API testing and validation
• Experience with Postman for API testing and validation
• Knowledge of performance testing using JMeter, including analysis and interpretation of test results
• Familiarity with AWS cloud services and infrastructure
• Exposure to Agile methodologies, with a working knowledge of scrum processes
• Experience using Azure DevOps (ADO) for managing test cases and sprint workflows
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a collaborative environment
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with team members and stakeholders
