Role Summary
MISSION
The Technical Specialist Building Finishing is the technical-applicative reference for the following products and systems: tile glues, stuccos, screeds, dehumidifying plasters, smoothing plasters, interior and exterior paints, coat systems, decorative systems and much more. Through internal and field activities, practical demonstrations and site inspections, it helps to promote the correct use of solutions and supports the sales force in the technical enhancement of the products.
We are looking for a person with a basic knowledge of the construction site and application techniques, interested in embarking on a path of professional growth. After an initial phase dedicated to application tests, management of the Technical Service spaces and creation of samples, the resource will be able to deepen their knowledge of the products and acquire specialist skills in application techniques through a specific growth path.
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
Previous experience, even initial, in the infrastructure construction sector and in the use of related products.
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE
- High level of manual dexterity in the use of construction tools;
- Good communication skills;
- Availability to travel frequently within Italy;
Familiarity with the main IT tools.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical-application support to the sales force and customers on Building Finishing products and systems.
- Carry out inspections of construction sites and customers to evaluate the supports and application conditions.
- Check the correct methods of preparation of the supports and identify the most suitable technical solutions based on the construction site conditions.
- Carry out application tests, sampling, demonstration panels and mock-ups of Building Finishing products and systems.
- Perform practical product application demonstrations at customers, construction sites, events and company offices.
- Organize and deliver technical-practical training activities aimed at customers and the sales force.
- Collaborate with the sales network during technical visits, meetings with customers and product presentations.
- Provide technical assistance in managing application problems and identifying related solutions.
- Participate in trade fairs, open days and sector events, supporting demonstration and promotional activities.
- Participation in the management, maintenance of order and usability of the spaces dedicated to the Technical Service.
- Availability for frequent travel throughout Italy is required (50% of the time away).
Requirements
- High school diploma.
