Role Summary
Under the authority of the Regional Sales Director, the Technical Sales Representative is responsible for the sales functions attributable to his region.
Responsibilities
- Position Sika as a company that provides quality products and service.
- Maintain an architectural focus as well as on the owners while taking into account regional sales activities.
- Achieve sales, pricing and discount targets.
- Develop sales plans and strategies for architectural markets, owners and contractors.
- Lead sales and service of Sika flooring products.
- Perform all other related tasks.
Requirements
- University or college diploma in administration or a technical field or relevant experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of technical sales experience.
- Bilingual (French and English) to facilitate exchanges with the team outside Quebec (60% of the time) and our international colleagues.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational, time management, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize urgent situations.
- Strong aptitude for teamwork. Excellent negotiation skills.
- Vehicle and driver’s license requirements
- Vehicle provided by the company.
- Hold a valid driver's license and comply with Sika Fleet Safety Policy requirements.
- Technical sales representatives are responsible for the prudent use and protection of company assets.
