Technical responsible VA machine

Role Summary

We at Samhällsbyggnad Vatten Norr are now looking for a senior engineer in VA machinery who wants to work on assignments in water and sewage treatment locally and regionally as well as collaborate nationally and internationally with other consultants within AFRY.

The position includes working with feasibility studies, dimensioning of machines and equipment, developing processes for water treatment and sludge handling, process optimization, developing principle proposals, request documents and working with project planning at various stages. Each mission is unique and requires a unique lineup that is adapted to the mission.

You will work on assignments throughout the country and travel will occur, but you will have one of our local offices as your regular workplace.

Requirements

In terms of education, we see that you have a degree as a civil engineer, university engineer or natural scientist with water and sewage treatment technology, mechanical or chemical technology as part of your degree or another degree that can be assessed as equivalent, or that you have accumulated equivalent skills through experience in the industry. You have at least eight years of experience in municipal water and/or sewage treatment technology. We see consulting experience as an asset.

As AFRY is an international company, we see that you have a command of both Swedish and English, both spoken and written, in order to meet our customers' needs.
