Role Summary

At GrowInTheRole we offer a digital learning space in which managers simulate challenging employee conversations with AI characters in a protected setting, receive differentiated feedback and further develop their communication and leadership skills through tailored learning impulses. To do this, we combine psychological and didactic know-how with modern AI technology to create an interactive, practical and location-independent learning experience. As a spin-off from FEEDBACKPEOPLE management consulting, we have successfully launched on the market. Our goal: Make GrowInTheRole the international market-leading player in the area of AI-powered leadership development. GERMANY-WIDE (REMOTE POSSIBLE) | FROM NOW | STARTING SALARY: 50,000 - 60,000€ ANNUAL SALARY (AT 40 HOURS/WEEK)

Responsibilities

You are responsible for the technical operation of our AI-supported learning platform - from the quality of new features to the infrastructure behind it. You are the interface between product, technology and the AI services on which GrowInTheRole is based and actively develop our product strategy.

Product development & prioritization: You work at the interface between our psychology team, which is responsible for content, and backend and frontend development. You translate between the three: You incorporate content requirements into the technical implementation, report development statuses and ensure that everyone is talking about the same thing. With your findings from testing, support and technology scouting, you provide input for our product roadmap and prioritize what will be implemented next. You test new features systematically, uncover problems early on and decide when a feature can go live.

Quality Assurance & Testing: You build up our QA processes and continuously develop them. If errors occur, you test the frontend and backend in a structured manner and, after fixing them, verify that everything works as expected. You use our ticket system for clarity and traceability. In this way, you ensure that our users have a stable, reliable learning experience.

Google Cloud, infrastructure & AI services: You administer our Google Cloud environment and access to our third-party AI providers: projects, permissions, quotas, costs. You configure and integrate new platforms and AI services together with the team and ensure that our infrastructure remains secure, cleanly documented and scalable.

Technical Support & User Research: You answer queries from our users and help with technical problems quickly and in a friendly manner. You systematically evaluate inquiries, feedback and usage data: This is how you track down bugs and determine where our learning experience can be improved even further.

Technology Scouting: You observe the market for LLMs, text-to-speech, speech-to-text and video avatars, pragmatically evaluate new models and tools and make well-founded recommendations. Your assessments shape how our AI stack develops.

Requirements

• Care and structured work: Accuracy counts when testing. You work systematically, document clearly and have an eye for details that others miss.
• Technology affinity & technical understanding: You are interested in generative AI and want to delve deeply into our product and the platforms behind it. Technical affinity, curiosity and your willingness to quickly familiarize yourself with new topics are crucial.

Communication skills: You speak German and English fluently. You move confidently between the perspectives of the psychology team, development and users and moderate between them, even if interests diverge. You explain technical matters in an understandable way, give feedback clearly and constructively and document it in a way that others can work with.

Startup mindset & personal responsibility: You want to work in a dynamic start-up environment with flexibility, speed and creative freedom. You act independently and in a solution-oriented manner. Missing processes don't stress you out, but rather motivate you to build structures yourself.

Background: You have a technical background and a completed degree. Ideally, you have initial professional experience in areas such as technical product management, IT administration, cloud or QA/testing. Therefore, you have experience in administering cloud environments (ideally Google Cloud) and managing access, permissions and projects.

Experience in software development is very welcome.
