Role Summary

Workplace: Chuquicamata Division, Calama, with permanent execution of field activities in the Foundry Management.

Support the Technical Operator in the execution of isokinetic and opacity measurements in the field.

Collaborate in the assembly, disassembly and transfer of equipment and measuring instruments.

Prepare materials, tools and supplies necessary for the development of activities.

Assist in the installation and removal of sampling systems at the different measurement points.

Support the review and cleaning of equipment and instruments before and after each measurement campaign.

Collaborate in the registration of land information and in the organization of documentation associated with the service.

Comply with the technical, quality, safety and environmental procedures established for the contract.

Maintain order and cleanliness of the work area, ensuring proper care of equipment and materials.

Promptly report any substandard condition, deviation or anomaly detected during the execution of activities.

Provide operational support to the work team to ensure compliance with the measurement program and established deadlines.

Requirements

• We are looking to incorporate a Technical Operator Assistant to participate in the execution of the service.
• Completed secondary education or title of Intermediate Level Technician or Higher Level Technician in a related career.
• Minimum 3 years of proven experience in the mining industry.
• Current certification issued by the competent supervisory body, when applicable.
• Experience in supporting environmental measurement activities and field work.
• Knowledge of occupational health and safety procedures applicable to mining operations.
• Ability to support the assembly, disassembly and transfer of measuring equipment and instruments.
• Availability to work in the Chuquicamata Division, with permanent execution of activities in the field.
