Role Summary

Workplace: Chuquicamata Division, Calama, with permanent execution of field activities in the Foundry Management.

Perform isokinetic measurements and support the performance of opacity measurements according to established methods.

Operate measuring equipment and instruments, ensuring their correct operation and calibration.

Assemble, dismantle and verify the sampling systems at the different measurement points.

Record the parameters and technical data obtained during field activities.

Verify compliance with technical, quality, safety and environmental procedures during the execution of the service.

Carry out basic inspections of equipment and promptly report any deviation or anomaly detected.

Coordinate your activities with the Field Supervisor to ensure compliance with the measurement program.

Maintain equipment, tools and instruments in optimal conditions for the execution of the service.

Comply with current environmental regulations and safety standards established by Codelco.

Requirements

  • We are looking to incorporate a Technical Operator to participate in the execution of the service.
  • Higher Level Technician Title or career related to the service.
  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience in the mining industry.
  • Experience in operating equipment for environmental measurements and/or isokinetic measurements.
  • Current certification issued by the competent supervisory body, when applicable.
  • Knowledge of environmental measurement procedures and handling of monitoring equipment and instruments.
  • Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety standards applicable to mining operations.
  • Ability to perform field work and operate measurement equipment in accordance with established procedures.
  • Availability to work in the Chuquicamata Division, with permanent execution of activities in the field.
