Role Summary

Wanted specializations

• We are interested in people with experience in one or more areas:
• steel structures and welded structures,
• welding and welding documentation,
• mechanics, machines, devices and industrial installations,
• electricity, automation, instrumentation and control, low and medium voltage,
• pressure equipment, tanks, pipelines, exchangers, boilers,
• NDT testing,

vendor inspection, supplier inspection, QA/QC inspection.

We do not require experience in all of the above-mentioned areas. All you need is experience in one or more technical specializations.

Welcome

• NDT certificates (according to ISO 9712) and current eye tests,
• welding qualifications, e.g. IWE, IWT, IWS, or similar,
• SEP G1/G2/G3 qualifications,
• qualifications / certificates in the field of inspection of anti-corrosion protection and protective coatings, e.g. FROSIO, AMPP / NACE
• experience as a technical inspector, quality inspector, QA/QC Inspector, Pre-Shipment Inspector, Vendor Inspector, welding, mechanical or electrical inspector,

Responsibilities

Scope of cooperation

• Depending on the project and the inspector's competences, cooperation may include:
• technical and quality inspections at manufacturers, suppliers or industrial facilities,
• final inspections before shipment / pre-shipment inspection,
• control of compliance of workmanship with technical documentation, standards, customer specifications or ITP plan,
• review of technical and quality documentation,

reporting inspection results, comments and non-conformities.

Requirements

Our expectations

• Experience in technical inspections, quality control, QA/QC, technical acceptance or pre-shipment inspections, FAT, SAT
• ability to read technical documentation, drawings, specifications and standards,
• knowledge of English at a level enabling communication, working with technical documentation and preparing an inspection report,
• independence and responsibility,
• availability for B2B project cooperation,
• willingness to work in your region and, depending on availability, on projects in other locations,
• ability to perform simple measurements,
• valid category B driving license

Description of the job offer

SGS Polska is expanding the network of technical inspectors cooperating in the B2B formula in the implementation of projects for the industrial, energy and production sectors.

We invite people with experience in conducting technical inspections, quality control, technical acceptance and pre-shipment inspections performed at manufacturers, suppliers and industrial facilities to cooperate with us.

We are not looking for one person to do everything. We want to establish cooperation with experts from various technical areas, whom we will be able to engage in projects according to their experience, qualifications, location and availability.
