Role Summary

As a Java/Angular Tech Lead, you are the main technical contact for the Sopra Steria team and for the client. You are involved in the entire technical life cycle of the project.

1. Technical referent & operational expertise

Act as technical referent for a team of around 10 developers,

Resolve complex technical subjects, support the team, support the skills development of junior team members,

Carry out or supervise code reviews, particularly for complex developments.

Guarantee good development practices, quality, performance and maintainability of applications (Clean Code, Sopra Steria standards),

Participate in technical monitoring (load, drifts, complexity), in support of piloting.

1. Design & technical solutions:

Participate in the design phases of web applications (Java/Spring – Angular).

Define and guide technical choices, propose solutions adapted to the customer's needs.

Define application architectures when creating and redesigning applications

1. Pre‑sales & customer interface:

Contribute to the pre-sales phases: costings, technical studies, POC, evaluation of approaches.

Be the preferred technical contact for the System Team Client for questions of implementation, performance and quality.

Present and argue your directions and proposals to the client

1. Integration and optimization of delivery via the AI Client stack:

Integrate the client's AI stack to

improve test coverage,

accelerate development,

optimize quality and performance.

Be a force for proposals on AI use cases to modernize delivery.

Requirements

You are a graduate of an engineering school or university equivalent and have at least 5 years of similar experience. You have proven expertise in Java / Spring and Angular and you have already technically supervised a team. You have the ability to design applications and guide technical choices. Your analytical mind and your ability to resolve complex problems will be an asset for this role.
