Role Summary

We are looking for a dedicated HR Operations & Payroll Team Lead to strengthen our team at the office location in 1030 Vienna

Leading, controlling and developing the HR Operations & Payroll team in accordance with company goals and objectives

Further development of efficient, service-oriented processes including documentation / creation of guidelines as well as ensuring high-quality and timely payroll accounting

Responsibility for compliance with all applicable laws and compliance guidelines, as well as any adjustment or further development of internal processes that ensure compliance

  • Advising employees and managers on labor law issues and payroll-related issues
  • Preparation and creation of various evaluations and reports
  • Operational responsibility for the topic of compensation & benefits, in close collaboration with the Head of HR
  • Participation in the implementation of monthly wage and salary accounting (employees and workers)
  • Overarching overall responsibility for the completeness and correctness of the personnel base
  • Responsible for the creation and review of service contract documents
  • Close collaboration and coordination with relevant internal stakeholders (national and international) as well as collaboration on HR projects
  • Taking on a system admin / key user role for our HR software (Oracle & DPW)

Requirements

  • Completed commercial training (Matura, studies)
  • Successfully completed training in the area of personnel accounting
  • Sound knowledge of Austrian labor law (preferably with a labor law diploma)
  • Min. 5 years of professional experience in payroll accounting (workers and employees) as well as in HR operations
  • Management experience (in a corporate environment) is an advantage
  • Technical understanding or interest, ideally experience in a system admin / key user role
  • Very good computer user knowledge (MS Office (especially Excel), experience with DPW and Oracle is an advantage)
  • Excellent knowledge of spoken and written German
  • Very good knowledge of English (level B or C), both spoken and written
  • Team-oriented, communicative and responsible personality
  • Structured and solution-oriented way of thinking and working
  • Strong motivation, hands-on mentality

  • For this position we offer a minimum gross salary of €4,500 gross on a full-time basis (including overtime allowance), plus a performance-related annual bonus. Depending on qualifications and professional experience, there is a willingness to overpay.
