Your new challenge as a team leader (m/f/d) production controlling

As an experienced production controller (m/f/d), you will take on technical responsibility for a small, experienced team and at the same time remain close to day-to-day operational business. We value your technical know-how as well as your ability to structure tasks, set priorities and bring together the different strengths in the team.

Our production controlling is closely linked to the processes at our production sites. SAP is the heart of our daily work and the central database for billing, calculation and analysis. Together with your team, we would like to continuously develop our processes and make even greater use of the possibilities of digitalization and automation. Together they look at where new solutions create real added value, simplify processes and allow more space for the analytical tasks of controlling.

The following tasks await you at our location in Hamburg-Wilhelmsburg:

You will take on the technical leadership and further development of our small team in production controlling, coordinate tasks and work together to ensure reliable processes in day-to-day business.

You will be responsible for billing our production orders for the CAFEA Group's packaging operations, analyzing the results and working closely with our production sites.

You keep an eye on manufacturing costs, inventories as well as order and cost center accounting and, together with the relevant interfaces, ensure a reliable database in SAP.

You are responsible for calculation runs as well as relevant special evaluations and internal calculations and derive the appropriate questions and needs for action from the results.

Together with your team, you will further develop processes, evaluations and our reporting and use digitalization and automation where they meaningfully support daily work.

In addition, you will contribute your know-how to cross-location CAFEA projects and work with different departments and international colleagues.

What you bring with you

Do you like to be in the thick of things professionally, but at the same time can keep an overview and enjoy bringing people, numbers and processes together? Then you might be a pretty good fit for us.

It is less important to us whether your professional path led you through a business degree, commercial training with appropriate further training or several years of practical experience. It is important to us that you have in-depth experience in controlling, ideally in a production or factory environment, and that you can confidently assess business relationships.

Have you already taken on initial responsibility for others, for example as a technical manager, deputy, project manager or in a small team? Perfect. You don't have to have a long-standing management career with us. What is much more important is that you enjoy taking responsibility, providing guidance, listening and sharing your knowledge with others.
