Role Summary

Professional in public accounting, with knowledge and experience in taxes, proactive, creative, with availability of time and work under pressure, with self-management capacity, good organization and time management skills, responsible, committed, teamwork

Experience: 2 years in accounting areas in

  • Response to requirements of administrative entities
  • National taxes (Income, VAT, rte fte income, assets abroad) municipal and/or permanent district taxes (ICA, rte ICA, self-withholding of ICA)
  • Preparation of magnetic media for the DIAN
  • Transfer pricing statement

Languages: intermediate English preferably.

Working hours from 8 am to 6 pm. In high season and/or closing of the month additional time is required.

Salary: $3,901,369

Definite term contract: initially temporary

Requirements

  • Basic/intermediate English and specialization in taxes, tax law or related matters
  • 2 years of experience in the preparation of national and municipal taxes, response to requirements of administrative entities, projection of corrections, inspection reports, management of tax platforms (DIAN and municipal). Knowledge of fiscal and tax legislation.
  • Analysis of accounting and tax information in order to identify tax risks for companies.
  • Review and support in the presentation of the ICA, VAT, Withholding at source, and Chambers of Commerce declarations of the companies, to comply with tax policies and minimize the risks in collection of penalties.
  • Document, review and prepare the annexes for the provision of current income tax and deferred tax, as well as the annexes to the income tax return that are required by the advisors.
  • Support in the documentation and validation of accounting figures for the preparation of magnetic media for the DIAN and the different Treasury Secretariats to comply with tax requirements; and promote the constant improvement of this process.
  • Prepare reports and responses to requirements issued by control and surveillance entities.
  • Complete and present the transfer pricing declaration in coordination with the advisors.
  • Analyze tax advance accounts, withholding at source, sales tax, industry and commerce, VAT and ICA withholdings to ensure that accounting records are correct.
  • Provide support to sectors in the presentation of tenders regarding tax issues.
  • Request withholding certificates at source, ICA, VAT, and peace of mind from the Compensation Funds.
  • Respond to the requirements of the DIAN, Treasury Secretaries and other entities regarding tax issues.
  • Register technology import contracts with the DIAN so that they can be deducted in the income tax return.
  • Review and upload the information to prepare the withholding certificates for VAT, ICA and Income from our suppliers to demonstrate the discounts made for taxes.
  • Provide support to sectors in reviewing month-end figures or in internal consultations to guarantee an adequate fiscal procedure.
  • Ensure that accounting processes are aligned with internal and fiscal control policies.
