Tax Analyst at Aptiv in Monterrey, Mexico.
Role Summary
At Aptiv, the Tax Analyst is a professional who is responsible for analyzing, calculating and presenting a company's tax obligations (VAT, ISR, withholdings, etc.), ensuring regulatory compliance with authorities such as the SAT, reconciling tax accounts, and collaborating in tax optimization and audit support, through critical thinking and great attention to detail to convert complex financial data into useful information for decision-making and company savings, using accounting and tax tools.
Responsibilities
- Federal tax compliance
- Prepare the monthly calculation of Maquila sales (Mark Up)
- Monthly calculation of provisional payments of Income Tax, VAT and withholdings.
- Prepare reconciliations of tax accounting accounts (CARS)
- Preparation of monthly informative statements (DIOT)
- Preparation of tax accounting reconciliation and annual adjustment for inflation. (Quarterly and annually)
- Filling out and sending the annual declaration.
- Preparation of the projection of monthly provisional payments.
- Filling out and sending forms 76 and 96
- Filling out and sending the declaration of Partners and Shareholders.
- Sending requests for refund of balances in favor of VAT (monthly) and ISR (annual).
- Calculation of the effective rate for US GAAP (quarterly) and MX GAAP (annual)
- Deferred tax calculation for US GAAP and MX GAAP
- Registration of accounting entries for tax purposes
- Monthly obtaining of the positive tax compliance opinion
- Sending various procedures on the website of the tax authorities (SAT).
- Obtain and send the lists of taxpayers who carry out simulated operations of article 69-B of the CFF (black lists)
Requirements
- Graduate in Accounting, Administration or similar
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar position
- Intermediate Excel
- Advanced English
- Knowledge of SAP (desirable)
