Role Summary
We are recruiting a Systems Architect to join our Defense & Security Business Unit, within the Operational Systems and Interoperability (SOI) Agency. Within the SOI Agency, the Airport Local Control (CLA) department is responsible for specifying, designing, producing and deploying the control and communication system for military air traffic on air and naval bases.
Roles and missions
- The system architect is responsible for defining and maintaining the design of the subsystem that processes real-time data. He is in charge of:
- Design and dimension the architecture of the subsystem under the guidance of the project system architect, and produce the associated documentation,
- To ensure performance and critical characteristics are maintained (maintainability, scalability, durability, security, etc.)
- To support the modernization of the system by providing rational solutions, meeting customer expectations,
- To ensure the monitoring of the system definition over time, to contribute to obsolescence treatments,
- Supervise the creation of the subsystem and in particular support the IVQ team in integration and validation tasks,
To present the technical choices to the administration, justify them if necessary, to contribute to studies and analyzes of developments.

Requirements
Expected required skills
- Know-how
- Define and write a system design
- Sizing an IS
- Take into account cross-functional constraints (SSI, availability, maintainability, etc.)
- Soft skills
- Good interpersonal skills allowing you to reconcile different points of view and take into account the constraints of the different project stakeholders (interfaces with IVQ, software and product development, configuration management, etc.),
- You have a sense of service and teamwork,
- You have good adaptability and you know how to demonstrate autonomy and initiative.
Bac +5 training, in an Engineering or University School specializing in IT, telecommunications and/or electronics, with experience of at least 5 years in the development of complex systems with predominantly software. Experience in air traffic control systems and/or the Defense environment is a plus.
Are you rigorous and organized? You know how to proceed methodically to analyze the problems encountered? Do you have a sense of service that you provide for the benefit of the project, do you interact educationally with other project stakeholders for a common goal of success? Do you have a good capacity for adaptation and you know how to demonstrate autonomy and initiative? Do you know how to explain architectural concepts and transmit them to juniors?
