Role Summary

As a Support Process & Maintenance Engineer for Probecards (f/m/div), you will actively support the team in ensuring the smooth functionality and quality of the probecards.

You will assist experienced colleagues in carrying out simple inspection, maintenance and repair tasks on probe cards and associated assemblies for electrical contacting in the test area.

They support the identification of deviations and the elimination of basic and clearly defined system malfunctions on probe cards, such as replacing wear parts or resetting systems according to specified instructions.

They also help carry out simple quality controls and check Probecard parameters according to specified checklists.

You carefully document the work carried out in the provided systems (e.g. maintenance software, logbooks) to ensure traceability.

You use the opportunity to continuously familiarize yourself with the specific systems, technologies and processes of the Probecards and to build up your knowledge. You work closely with shift colleagues and experienced engineers to solve daily problems together.

In this position you will work in our fully continuous 6:4 shift model. This means that every 6 working days (2 early, 2 late, 2 night shifts) are followed by 4 days off.

Requirements

  • Training: successfully completed technical or craft vocational training (e.g. electrician, mechanic, mechatronics engineer or comparable). Motivated career changers with basic technical understanding are also welcome (e.g. precision mechanics, watchmakers)
  • Experience and know-how: ideally first practical experience in a technical or craft area, preferably as a career starter. Willingness to learn new things and familiarize yourself with complex technical topics such as precision engineering or micromechanics
  • Personality and way of working: A high sense of responsibility and quality, a willingness to learn and the ability to work in a team, as well as reliability and good fine motor skills are essential. You are motivated, like to lend a hand and work precisely according to instructions
  • Languages: very good knowledge of German and basic knowledge of English
