Supplier performance & development manager - Aeronautics (M/F)

Role Summary

As part of our growth in the aeronautics and defense sector, we are looking for a Supplier Quality Manager - Aeronautics (M/F) to work for one of our clients, the world leader in helicopters.

• As part of a project team, you will guarantee compliance with our client's quality standards among suppliers. As such your missions will be:
• Manage a portfolio of suppliers in order to improve performance (deadlines and quality)
• Define and format KPIs to manage your activity
• Define corrective action plans (via methods: 8D, Six Sigma, Lean, etc.)
• Lead and monitor action plans
• Carry out audits and capacity assessments
• Manage technical subjects related to different services (supply, purchasing, method, design office and production)
• Guarantee compliance with standards among suppliers
• Guarantee the delivery time and quality of the parts
• Management of non-conformities
• Ensure the relay between suppliers and the customer

You will be required to work in various technical environments (mechanical aeronautical production environment, composite, special processes, electronics, avionics, etc.). This position will involve occasional travel to suppliers across France and Europe.

Requirements

• You have an engineering background (generalist, production, industrial/mechanical engineering, supply chain or industrial quality) or hold a technical Bac +5, and you have at least 5 years of experience in a similar position in an industrial environment.
• You demonstrate dynamism, communication skills, listening skills and curiosity.
• You know how to demonstrate initiative as well as a spirit of analysis and synthesis.
• You have knowledge of LMP and/or supplier relations in quality and/or supply chain.
• You master the English language in a professional context, with a minimum C1 level
