Supervisor

Role Summary

As a supervisor, you are the point of contact for our security guards and you support them in their work. You enjoy coaching the team to get the most out of themselves and ensure that the work is carried out correctly. Sometimes you do this by motivating, other times it may be more directive. In short, you enjoy providing operational leadership. It is self-evident to you that you must always show the right exemplary behavior.

You will work in an international environment, where, in addition to security awareness, hospitality plays a major role. Much communication takes place in the English language. When reporting irregularities, you report this immediately to the correct contact persons. You work closely with the security managers and provide them with the right input, regarding both the operational process and the employees.

A selection of common activities

Providing daily (de)briefings and informing security managers

Classifying the employees and coordinating with the planning

Coordinating the points of interest in the agenda: providing escorts, checking the grounds and buildings, receiving new colleagues, etc.

Ensure that all security tasks are carried out according to the instructions, including identifying and reporting irregularities

Coaching and instructing the security guards during the shift

Requirements

You see and hear what others do not notice. You are also patient and good at contacting people. In addition, for this Security Supervisor vacancy you have the following:

• You have a Security Guard-2 diploma;
• You are in possession of a driving license B and a car
• You have a good command of the Dutch and English language
• You are available 24/7 and can be deployed flexibly (including evening, night, weekend shifts and public holidays)
• You can handle a computer well
• You are a real motivator and know how to enthuse the team
• You are strong in planning and organizing

• Salary in accordance with the PB collective labor agreement gross
• Surcharge of €1.20 per hour
• Indefinite contract of 144 hours per 4 weeks

• Full travel allowance if you travel by public transport or €0.19 per km
