Role Summary

Do you want to contribute to the realization of high-quality and sustainable heating and cooling networks within our Project Realization department? Do you enjoy being outside on projects, do you like variety and do you get energy from working in a project team in which you collaborate with contractors, builders and municipalities? Then we are looking for you!

As a project realization supervisor, you are the face on the work floor. You supervise the implementation of new construction and renovation projects in Amsterdam North and Amsterdam West for which we realize heating and cold networks. You ensure that the work is carried out safely, according to the implementation plan and to high quality, while monitoring the technical guidelines. You are the connecting link between project preparation, implementation and our external stakeholders.

What are you going to do?

  • Provide daily supervision of ongoing projects in progress;
  • Checking whether contractors' work complies with contracts, quality requirements and technical standards;
  • Monitor progress and identify and resolve bottlenecks in a timely manner;
  • Check safety on the construction site and intervene where necessary;
  • Inform interested parties about work and handle their reports professionally;
  • Carrying out interim inspections, partial deliveries and final checks;

Registering additional/less work, checking actual calculations and keeping progress reports.

In consultation with your manager, there is a possibility to be deployed in the breakdown service.

Administrative skills and digital strong: Working with Copilot is an advantage.

What are you taking with you?

  • MBO 4 or higher working and thinking level, preferably in a technical direction
  • Work experience in a technical environment (e.g. construction, civil engineering sector or similar technical sectors);
  • Knowledge of construction technology, civil engineering or installation technology;

Preferably several years of experience as a supervisor, foreman, work planner or similar roles.

Requirements

Who are you? You are someone who likes to be outdoors, can switch quickly and is confident. You have a good eye for quality and dare to approach executives when necessary. With your customer-oriented attitude, you know how to reassure residents and other stakeholders and clearly inform them about the work, because you are the physical point of contact at project locations.

We offer you a nice salary in the range of €3800-€4500 gross per month for full-time employment.   • (If you participate in the breakdown service, compensation of 11.25% of your monthly salary per shift of 1 week + overtime).
  • A 38-hour working week (you work 40 hours and build up 2 ADV hours every week).
