Supervisor Guarding Seaports

Role Summary

As a Guarding Seaports Supervisor you have an eye for the person behind the employee. You ensure that security guards feel valued, can develop and remain optimally deployable. With your enthusiasm and leadership qualities, you create a positive working atmosphere in which employees can get the best out of themselves.

The focus of this position is not customer contact, but your focus is completely on guiding, coaching and developing your team. This team works at various Securitas customers in the Port of Rotterdam. This gives you every opportunity to support employees in their growth, involvement and performance.

Responsibilities

• Managing a team of 40 to 60 security guards at various port locations.
• Monitor and improve the quality of services.
• Actively manage short and frequent absences to ensure continuity and quality of service.
• Conducting monthly meetings to discuss development and record agreements.
• Improving KPIs in the areas of absenteeism, outflow and employee satisfaction.
• You also play an important role in the personal and professional development of your employees. You are involved in the selection of new colleagues and ensure smooth on-boarding, both within Securitas and at the customer.
• You work closely with your team members, the Branch Manager Operations and Planning to implement the drawn up branch plan. Together you identify productivity and efficiency savings and report these to the Branch Manager Operations.

Requirements

• MBO 4 working and thinking level
• Some experience in managing a team

• Available full-time (160 hours per 4 weeks)
