Role Summary

We are recruiting a Structural Calculation Engineer to join our INDUSTRY BU within the Digital Simulation agency. This brings together our expertise in the fields of scientific computing, modeling, TMA of scientific applications and studies of complex physical phenomena.

You will work within an experienced team, on a project platform, for the mechanical dimensioning of launcher substructures, in a demanding industrial context.

Technical environment

Static or dynamic thermomechanical calculations (linear and nonlinear),

Software: NX, SAMCEF, ABAQUS, ANSYS.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the following tasks

• Analysis of plans,
• Recovery, modification or simplification of CAD files,
• Relevant choice of modeling,
• Development or modification of meshes,
• Put into data,
• Monitoring and fine-tuning calculations,
• Processing, exploitation and analysis of the results,
• Parametric studies,
• Possibly test preparation and monitoring,

Writing summary notes.

Requirements

• Graduate of an engineering school or university equivalent (Bac+5), you have at least 3 years of experience in the field of structural calculation.
• You have mastered the fundamentals of mechanics and thermomechanics, the finite element method, the use of specialized software, and you have excellent writing skills, particularly for writing reports. Mastery of NX and SAMCEF tools is essential.
• Knowledge of AMARILLIS would be a plus for this position.
