Role Summary

Issues

Within Galitt by Sopra Steria, you support the strategic, innovation, payments and transformation departments of large banking groups in defining visions for the future, building innovative models and leading structuring transformations in the payments ecosystem.

You work on high-impact issues: modernization of payment platforms, diversification of revenue models, digital sovereignty, digital payments, open banking, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

1. Strategic advice & vision

• Development of strategic Payments roadmaps (Instant Payment, Request to Pay, Digital Wallets, CB2.0, Tokenization).
• Market analysis, opportunity framing, construction of innovative business models.
• Regulatory impact studies (DSP2+, EPC Rulebooks, PCI DSS, CB schemes).

1. Innovation & design of new services

• Definition of digital customer journeys: onboarding, strong authentication, e-commerce payment, walletization.
• Animation of Design Thinking processes, ideation, rapid prototyping.
• Benchmark of fintech solutions & market players.

1. Framing & structuring transformations

• 360° diagnosis of Payments channels (issuance, acquisition, clearing, settlement).
• Support for transformation programs: framing, strategic PMO, committee management.

1. Thought Leadership & Dissemination

• Production of perspective notes, market points of view, prospective payments.
• Participation in events, conferences, working groups.

Requirements

4 years minimum in consulting, banking or fintech on Payments / Electronic banking / Open Banking subjects.

Key skills

• Solid understanding of the Payments value chain (actors, flows, roles, regulatory constraints).
• Ability to produce structured analyses, business cases, strategic notes.
• Comfort in mapping: customer journeys, processes, ecosystem, operational models.
• Mastery of consulting methods: framing, impact analysis, transformation governance.

Soft Skills

• Intellectual leadership, curiosity, sense of challenge.
• Editorial excellence, ability to convince Executive Committees/Directors.
• Analytical mind, advisory attitude, autonomy.
