Our commercial products-including commercial cards, virtual payments, and data-enabled solutions-help clients improve working capital, productivity, control, and transparency while enabling secure and efficient payments.

The Commercial Product Sr Manager - Visa Commercial Solutions is responsible for driving the adoption, performance, and commercialization of Visa's fleet and mobility payment solutions across South Africa and selected Sub-Saharan Africa markets.

The role is market-facing and highly collaborative, combining product leadership, solution selling, and partner orchestration to deliver measurable commercial outcomes.

The ideal candidate will bring strong fleet payments expertise, experience working with fuel companies, fleet managers, logistics providers, and issuers, and the ability to translate market needs into scalable, commercially viable solutions.

  • Translate market and client needs into clear product positioning, value propositions, and use-case narratives.

Client & Issuer Engagement

  • Engage directly with corporate decision makers (Finance, Procurement, Fleet, Operations) to articulate the value of Visa fleet and commercial payment solutions.
  • Support complex client opportunities, RFPs, and implementations through consultative solution design.

Ecosystem & Partner Collaboration

  • Work collaboratively with fuel merchants, fleet management companies, processors, acquirers, and technology partners to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Drive alignment across the value chain to ensure strong acceptance, seamless customer experience, and scalable growth.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance fleet propositions through partnerships, integrations, and data capabilities.

Commercial Performance & Execution

  • Support the development and execution of country and regional go-to-market plans for fleet and commercial payment solutions.
  • Contribute to volume, revenue, and market share growth by increasing product usage and penetration.
  • Partner with regional sales, pricing, and finance teams to structure commercially viable solutions and agreements.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Operate effectively within a highly matrixed organization, collaborating across product, sales, marketing, operations, risk, and technology teams.
  • Act as a trusted internal advisor on fleet and commercial payments, sharing best practices and market insights.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of Visa Commercial Solutions through feedback and market intelligence.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
