Role Summary

You will join the Sopra Steria company within the Digital Platform Services entity, with a dynamic team in a stimulating environment.

Depending on the missions entrusted to you, you are required to evolve within Sopra Steria internal teams in outsourcing type services or you are directly integrated into client teams. You are supported by a dynamic team who will make you take an active part in the project as a whole.

Throughout your career in the Group, you are supported by your single manager, who is closely present on your mission and who supports you in your career development.

As a SPLUNK platform administrator, you

• Administer the Splunk platform (on-premises and AWS infrastructure)
• Ensure high availability and reliability of Splunk environments (indexers, SH's, forwarders etc.)
• Optimize platform performance
• Develop scripts (bash, python, etc.) to automate routine tasks
• Work with/enhance CI/CD pipelines for Splunk deployments

Integrate Splunk with tools like servicenow, aws, git, jenkins etc.

Update versions of Splunk, data onboarding process, L3 incident support

Requirements

Your knowledge

• Splunk Enterprise Administrator
• Splunk Cloud Basics
• AWS practice
• Strong working knowledge of Splunk core (Indexer, SH, Forwarder)
• Strong knowledge of Linux, networks and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
• Graduate of a Bac+5 and from an engineering school or equivalent, you have at least 5 years of professional experience in a similar position.
