Role Summary
We are looking as soon as possible
Speech therapist (m_f_d) full-time or part-time
Insight into the area of activity
Carrying out comprehensive speech therapy diagnostics for geriatric patients, particularly in the areas of dysphagia, aphasia, dysarthria, apraxia of speech and cognitive communication disorders
- Planning, implementation and evaluation of individual therapy programs taking geriatric characteristics and comorbidities into account
- Dysphagia therapy including dietary adjustments, swallowing screenings and observations as well as participation in aspiration prevention measures
- Close interdisciplinary collaboration with doctors, nursing, physiotherapy and occupational therapy, neuropsychology and social services
- Advice, guidance and training for relatives, nursing staff and therapists on communication and swallowing therapy issues
- Documentation of the course of therapy, preparation of findings and reports as well as participation in team meetings and case conferences
- Participation in quality assurance measures and, if necessary, in the further development of speech therapy concepts in the geriatric setting
