Role Summary

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering engineering projects from initiation through to completion. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders and technical specialists to ensure project objectives are achieved on time, within scope and within budget.

This role is ideal for someone with project management experience , preferably within the Aerospace, Space or Defence sector, who is looking to develop their career in a challenging and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the delivery of engineering and technical projects throughout the full project lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, plans and risk registers.
  • Coordinate activities across multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
  • Monitor project performance, budgets and key milestones.
  • Identify, assess and mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, regulatory and customer requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and project governance activities.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years' experience in a Project Management role.
  • Experience delivering projects within the Aerospace, Space or Defence sector.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage schedules, budgets and project risks.
  • Excellent organisational and planning abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a complex engineering environment.
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering , or equivalent military experience .

Desirable Skills

  • Project Management qualification (APM, PRINCE2, PMP or equivalent).
  • Experience working on highly regulated engineering programmes.
  • Knowledge of aerospace development lifecycles and engineering processes.
  • Understanding of configuration management and project governance frameworks.
