Software support agent and developer

Role Summary

As a Software Developer you will create improvements and fix errors in our company’s IT System. You will receive requests from our end-users and either trouble-shoot issues or determine appropriate solutions and implement the necessary code-changes. Your work will be pivotal to the success of the business and the productivity of our staff.

Responsibilities

• > Analyse support-requests and develop software solutions.
• > Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and technical issues.
• > Design, code, test, and debug software applications.
• > Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality and best practices.
• > Write and maintain clear, concise documentation for software applications.

Requirements

• > Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or STEM topic (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics).
• > Proficiency in the programming languages SQL, .NET (C#) and VB Scripting.
• > Familiarity with team-development practises and version control systems, such as TFS DevOps or Git.
• > Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• > Good communication skills and customer-focus in supporting our end-users.

Nice to Have

• > Passion for life-sciences such as Chemistry and Microbiology.
• > Experience with web development frameworks (e.g., C# Razor, Core).
