Role Summary

We are recruiting a Software Integrator to join our Defense & Security Business Unit, within the Operational Systems and Interoperability (SOI) Agency. Within the SOI Agency, the Airport Local Control (CLA) department is responsible for specifying, designing, producing and deploying the control and communication system for military air traffic on air and naval bases.

Technical environment

  • Linux (Red Hat, Oracle Linux, Fedora)
  • Scripting (Bash, Python, Perl, Shell…)
  • Secure IP networks (VPN, openssh, open ssl, etc.)
  • Database (postgresql, elasticsearch, etc.)
  • Virtualization solutions (KVM/QEMU, VirtualBox), container (Docker)
  • Centralized and automatic deployment (Ansible, Boot PXE, etc.)
  • Anomaly/event management: Jira

Responsibilities

Roles and missions

  • Lead the integration of software components within the assigned scope in order to produce the software packages to be delivered to system integration,
  • Prepare, deploy and test software packages on factory software integration platform,
  • Receive software packages from other contributors and help with their system integration,
  • Write integration test sheets and results, provide progress information,
  • Identify anomalies, conduct analysis with the required stakeholders to identify the causes and propose solutions,
  • Participate in the development of technical software production documentation.
  • You carry out constant technological monitoring to follow the latest trends and best practices in software development and integration.

  • IP communications and communication protocols would be a plus
  • With Bac +5 training, in an Engineering or University School specializing in IT, telecommunications and/or electronics, you have at least 4 years of experience in the development of complex systems with predominantly software.
  • You are comfortable with setting up and managing a continuous integration chain, in order to ensure the deployment and configuration of applications, and monitor progress via an integration plan and structured reporting.
  • Rigorous and organized, you approach problems methodically and know how to effectively analyze the situations encountered. With a real sense of service, you actively contribute to the success of the project by collaborating educationally with all stakeholders.
  • You demonstrate adaptability, autonomy and a spirit of initiative, and are comfortable explaining architectural concepts as well as supporting more junior profiles in their development of skills.
  • Experience in air traffic control systems and/or the Defense environment is a plus.
