Software Engineering Leader (Tech Lead)

We are looking for a Tech Leader to help develop our scalable platform, participating in the entire structuring of projects and helping to define technologies and methodologies!

What is expected of this position?

Technical Leadership and Architecture: Design, direct and make decisions about the architecture (front-end and back-end) of our systems, ensuring scalability, performance, security and maintenance.

Mentoring and People Development: Guide, mentor and provide technical feedback to the team's developers, encouraging continuous growth and dissemination of knowledge.

Hands-on: Write high-quality code, develop complex features, perform automated tests and actively participate in code reviews.

Quality and Standards: Define and promote good development practices to maintain the quality of the team's deliveries.

Facilitation and Resolution of Blockages: Work on identifying and removing technical impediments, assisting the team in resolving complex engineering problems.

Bridge with Business and Product: Work side by side with the Product and Design teams to translate business needs into clear technical requirements and realistic estimates.

Process Evolution: Suggest and implement improvements in software development life cycle processes and agile methodologies.

Experience with technologies

• Angular 2+;
• Java (Ex.: Play Framework/Spring);
• NestJS
• Relational database (Ex.: PostgreSQL);

Use of cloud (e.g.: AWS).

Experience with automated testing.

Responsibilities

You will do very well if

• Have solid practical experience as a Fullstack Developer and experience with technical leadership of software teams.
• Have a macro view of software architecture, design patterns and high-availability distributed SaaS systems.
• You are an exceptional problem solver, able to decompose complex problems and propose simple and efficient solutions.
• Have excellent communication and ability to negotiate deadlines, priorities and solutions with different stakeholders.
• Driven by continuous learning, self-taught and proactive to explore new technologies, methodologies and tools.
• Have a passion for developing people and building a strong, collaborative and results-focused technical culture.
• You are passionate about growth and want to develop. Here people grow along with the company (and vice versa);

Requirements

• Higher education completed or in progress;
• At least 4 years of experience in Node.Js;
• Experience as a Technical Leader;
• Basic English - for coding;

Availability to work 40 hours per week.
