Role Summary
We are recruiting a Software Architect to join our Defense & Security Business Unit, within the Operational Systems and Interoperability (SOI) Agency. Within the SOI Agency, the Airport Local Control (CLA) department is responsible for specifying, designing, producing and deploying the control and communication system for military air traffic on air and naval bases.
Roles and missions
- Participate in defining system developments with system architects, specialty engineers and product teams,
- Define and support the implementation of the new software architecture,
- Specify the external and internal interfaces of the components,
- Ensure the ability to deploy components in the production environment,
- Help the IVVQ team with system integration and validation tasks,
Support the modernization of the system by providing innovative methods and concepts.
You carry out constant technological monitoring to follow the latest trends and best practices in software development and integration.

Mastery of
- C++ software development
- IP communications and communication protocols (Corba, DDS, etc.)
- Allocation of machine resources to processes
- Database: postgresql, elasticsearch
- Deployment: ansible, distributed architecture concept, Boot PXE

Requirements
Bac +5 training, in an Engineering School or University specialized in IT, telecommunications and/or electronics, with at least 5 years of experience in software development, concrete experience in a software architect position in the field of complex systems with predominantly software. Experience in air traffic control systems and/or the Defense environment is a plus.
Are you rigorous and organized? You know how to proceed methodically to analyze the problems encountered? Do you have a sense of service that you provide for the benefit of the project, do you interact educationally with other project stakeholders for a common goal of success? Do you have a good capacity for adaptation and you know how to demonstrate autonomy and initiative? Do you know how to explain architectural concepts and transmit them to juniors?
