Site Security Manager

Role Summary

We are looking for a Site Security Manager for one of our largest international customers. In this position you combine operational responsibility with strategic insight. You are responsible for all physical security activities at data centers in the Eemshaven area. You ensure that our services are provided effectively and efficiently and contribute to international implementations through digital training and support.

In addition to managing the operation, you are also responsible for managing a team, maintaining customer contacts and making proposals and taking actions to continuously improve services. You translate customer guidelines into the operation, make recommendations for improvement and monitor quality.

Together with six fellow Site Security Managers, you manage more than 175 employees every day - a number that will grow considerably in the near future. In addition, you are operationally responsible for performance at location(s) and you ensure that instructions and procedures are complied with.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and monitoring of Security Operation Center (SOC) systems.
• Management of access rights and schedules.
• Setting up and conducting training sessions.
• Proactively make proposals to continuously improve safety.
• Report (in English) to the client's management and to your Campus Security Manager.
• Lead the team and maintain a strong relationship with the customer.
• Set up actions and manage improvement initiatives to optimize services.

Requirements

• You have a good command of the English language, both spoken and written
• HBO working and thinking level
• You are in possession of a driving license B (link) and your own transport
• Demonstrable knowledge of health & safety is an advantage
• You have demonstrable experience in managing physical security (within an international environment)
• You get energy from working together and know how to motivate and coach teams on a daily basis
• You are strong in coordinating multiple projects at the same time and maintain an overview under pressure
• Preferably living within 60 km of Eemshaven
• Willingness to perform periodic picket shifts
