Shift Supervisor

Role Summary

We have an opportunity for you, we are looking for a Shift Supervisor in Pacheco.

• Ensure the correct operation (picking process) of the store during your shift, maintaining high Quality standards, in accordance with the Company's Processes and Policies.

-Coordinate the team and its tasks, assigning resources according to priorities and maximizing productivity. Solving conflicts that may arise during your work shift.

-Ensures adequate staff per day and time, being in constant communication with the Store Manager, regarding the team's performance.

-Monitors team performance and supports the Store Manager in compliance with the store's administrative processes. (Inventory Management/Shrinkage Control/Billing/People/Maintenance).

-Ensures that the store complies with regional and local food safety, occupational health and environmental policies. He is in charge of reporting all deviations that may arise in the store in relation to policies.

-Supports the Store Manager in Monitoring tasks in the store, in the professional development of people and suggests improvements to increase productivity.

• In the absence of the Store Manager, he is in charge of coordinating work shifts and arranging the work modality in the store.

-Controls and manages the organization of the reception and office area. Clear the space and leave the necessary equipment ready.

-In the absence of the Store Manager, he will supervise the entire reception process and will respond as responsible. Reports to your leader in the event of a possible conflict with a supplier.

-He is responsible for delegating with a picker or carrying out the Reception of the merchandise, controlling the truck, the SKUs and quantities. Controls expiration dates and quality of the products it receives (product integrity, refrigerated and frozen temperatures). In the absence of the Store Manager, reject products that do not comply with our established standards and procedures.

• Is responsible for delegating or entering merchandise, replenishing it on shelves and refrigeration equipment. Complying with the standards of order, safety, quality and hygiene. Thus being a reference for your team.
• Ensures the correct training of its staff according to company standards and policies (e.g. Onboarding/Offboarding process). Ensuring operational excellence.
• Promote initiatives to improve the climate and motivation of employees in the store. Organizing rituals, communicating news and integrating the PeYa culture into the day-to-day life of the store.
• Uses systems such as Tableau, Ops Portal, Workday, Gmail, Orquest and Pelican, for the planning and execution of administrative procedures. - Analyzes business metrics, promoting operational excellence and productivity in the store.

-You are responsible for the integrity of your inventory and for achieving established Accuracy targets.

-Plan and coordinate cycle counts with the Store Manager.

-Perform or delegate planned counts with Pickers respecting procedures to help keep inventories in line

Requirements

• What do we expect from you?
• Experience in similar positions leading work teams.
• Knowledge of Office package tools (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) and Google.
• Action orientation and ability to solve problems.
• Strong interpersonal skills; ability to build positive relationships, generate trust. Autonomy.
