Setter Linea Maquinados VB at Aumovio in Parque Industrial Las Colinas, Mexico.

Responsibilities

• Perform machine setup and verification checks, including tool changes, dimensional adjustments, and compliance with operating sequences.
• Perform dimensional and visual inspections using measuring instruments to guarantee product quality and compliance with control plans.
• Supervise the operation of the machine during shifts, identify defects and coordinate with the maintenance area on issues related to the equipment.
• Generate maintenance work orders and production reports documenting machine breakdowns, downtime, and corrective actions taken.
• Maintain electronic production records (cell fusion/pulse line), including shift data, part numbers, production quantities and machine downtime.
• Execute the Jidoka escalation process by implementing corrective measures for quality defects.
• Support operators in completing production boards and shift documentation.
• Collaborate with quality technicians in subsequent classification procedures to separate and manage suspicious material.
• Provide technical support to senior and full CNC fitters as required.

Requirements

• Knowledge in the preparation and adjustment of CNC machines.
• Knowledge of tooling/tools for machining on CNC equipment.
• Interpretation of plans (tools, hardware, product, specifications).
• Management of measuring instruments, gauges, master (Poka Yokes).
• Problem Solving Techniques.
• Knowledge of tool assembly (thermal, hydraulic, mechanical).
• Analysis in dimensional adjustments.
• Monitoring of Electronic Production Report.
• Geometric and Dimensional Tolerances (GD&T)
