Role Summary

ServiceNow Senior Developer

Hours: Monday to Friday from 8:00am - 5:30pm

Mode: Remote.

Location: CDMX, Benito Juarez.

Type of contract: Indeterminate.

We are looking for a ServiceNow Senior Developer with experience in the design, development and integration of business solutions on the ServiceNow platform. You will be responsible for implementing scalable solutions, developing integrations with corporate systems, ensuring compliance with development best practices, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to drive platform evolution.

Main activities

Design, develop and maintain solutions in the ITSM, CSM, HRSD and SLO modules.

Configure and customize the platform following ServiceNow best practices, prioritizing standard configurations when possible.

Develop integrations with internal systems and third-party applications using IntegrationHub, MID Server, REST, SOAP and Workflow Data Fabric.

Build and maintain components such as Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Actions, Scheduled Jobs and Transform Maps using JavaScript and Glide API.

Participate in architecture, design and code reviews to ensure the quality and stability of solutions.

Manage development, versioning and deployment processes using Azure DevOps and SDLC methodologies.

Implement Now Assist (GenAI) functionalities to optimize the experience of users and agents.

Collaborate on platform updates, patching and regression testing.

Analyze functional requirements and convert them into scalable and well-documented technical solutions.

Prepare technical documentation, integration specifications and operating manuals.

Provide technical support and mentoring to the development team, promoting good architecture, performance and security practices.

Manage multiple development initiatives in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Requirements

• Engineering or Bachelor's degree in Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
• More than 5 years of experience developing ServiceNow solutions within productive environments.
• Proven experience in at least three of the following areas:
• ITSM
• CSM
• HRSD
• SLO Management
• IntegrationHub
• Service Portal
• Mastery of JavaScript, Glide API, GlideRecord, GlideSystem, REST Message Scripting and Transform Maps.
• Experience developing integrations using REST, SOAP, JDBC and MID Server.
• Knowledge of Workflow Data Fabric or event-oriented integration architectures.
• Knowledge of the ServiceNow security model (ACLs, Roles, User Criteria and Data Isolation).
• Experience with Azure DevOps or similar tools for version control, code reviews, and deployments.
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience preparing technical and functional documentation.
• Advanced English to collaborate with global teams and participate in technical meetings.
