Sensory Laboratory Analyst

Role Summary

Performs sensory physical analysis, using predetermined techniques to meet the demands of the services in your area, complying with all safety regulations and control standards, as well as organizational and environmental policies.

Participates in updating or developing new methodologies, from the execution of methods, recording of results, data processing, procedures and protocols as requested.

Operates, facilitates and maintains the optimal functioning of the equipment and supplies related to its functions, and is responsible for notifying the presence of defects or if replacement is required.

Requirements

• Formal Studies: Professional in Fisheries Engineering, Food Engineering, Agroindustrial Engineering, Biology, or related careers.
• Experience: ideal 2 years' experience as a sensory testing analyst in hydrobiological products and other foods.
• Minimum necessary skills: Practical and theoretical management of sensory analysis methods.
• Knowledge: Procedures and use of laboratory equipment. Safety and traceability standards in the treatment of samples.
