Senior System and Network Administrator

Role Summary

As part of strengthening its technical teams, we are looking for a Senior IT Administrator specialized in network and systems administration. You will be a key player in the management, optimization and security of technical infrastructures.

This strategic position involves strong autonomy, an ability to coordinate technical projects and guarantee the performance and reliability of technical environments.

Responsibilities

• 🔹 Management, Design and Support Strategy
• Participate in the definition, improvement and adjustment of the support strategy
• Maintain and improve the good relationship between the different support players, at group and local level
• Propose and implement short and medium term actions aimed at improving the quality of service provided to customers, while respecting budgets and deadlines
• Facilitate Problem Management and Root Cause Analysis workshops
• Train and supervise the technical support team in resolving incidents
• 🔹 Service transition
• Support project teams to prepare the transition to RUN of the group's new infrastructure solutions and components
• Implementation of SLAs, processes and support diagrams
• Orchestration, automation and industrialization of support processes
• Change management
• Knowledge base management
• 🔹 Technology monitoring
• Follow best practices in networks and systems
• Propose continuous improvements to infrastructure performance and security

Requirements

• Graduate of an engineering school or a technical university course
• Proven experience (3 to 7 years) in network and systems administration, ideally in an IT software environment
• Mastery of network technologies: TCP/IP, VLAN, OSPF, BGP, DNS, DHCP
• Very good knowledge of network equipment: Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto…
• Experience with monitoring tools: Zabbix…
• Good basics in network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, SSL)
• Knowledge of systems and virtualization: Linux, VMware
• Additional skills: SSO, CFT, storage
• Knowledge of scripting (Python, Bash) preferred
• Autonomy, rigor and sense of service
• Analysis and diagnostic capacity
• Good interpersonal skills and team spirit
