Senior Sample Preparer - PMI Callao

Role Summary

Verify and monitor compliance with the technical, operational and quality activities of the Inorganic Sample Preparation Laboratory carried out by the Sample preparers.

Coordinate the work with the Shift Coordinator or Laboratory Coordinator according to priority.

Verify the proper functioning of the Laboratory equipment and maintain control over the measurement means.

Promote compliance with instructions and management of personnel within the operational area.

Follow up on the Area's Integrated Management System (Quality, Safety, Environment and Occupational Health)

Maintain control in daily productivity.

Review and/or coordinate orders to replenish stock, according to work needs.

Record the entry and distribution of samples.

Enter data into the system, referring to preparation and/or rehearsals.

Verify the calibration and operational status of the equipment.

Identify and report problems during the preparation and/or rehearsal process.

Send electronic information internally (within the area).

Keep track of the storage of samples and counter samples

Requirements

• Completed secondary school or chemical technician, chemical analyst technician, Industrial Chemistry technician, metallurgist technician.
• Experience in the sector (2 years) or in specific functions (2 years).
• Have knowledge in the preparation and exploration of samples or physical tests.
• Availability for rotating shifts.
