- You are responsible for reliability systems engineering and technical risk management for complex systems and components in an innovative high-tech environment
- develops and implements design-to-reliability concepts to sustainably improve product reliability
- carry out reliability analyzes and calculate failure rates, failure probabilities and service life forecasts of technical systems
- Use methods such as Weibull analysis, Weibayes, Monte Carlo simulations and Wöhler curves to evaluate product and system reliability
- Create and evaluate FMEA/FMECA analyzes to identify error channels, risks and failure mechanisms
- analyze damage mechanisms, degradation effects and corrosion processes as part of physics of failure studies
- evaluate the reliability of materials such as metals, plastics, coatings and electronic components and assemblies
- coordinate reliability activities with internal departments, international customers and suppliers
- supports interdisciplinary teams in root cause analyzes of customer complaints and field failures
- further develop existing reliability models and derive optimization measures for products and systems
- work with relevant norms and standards, especially IEC norms and industry-related reliability standards

You have completed a degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, physics, chemistry, mathematics, materials science, electrical engineering or a comparable qualification
- have several years of professional experience in the areas of reliability engineering, systems engineering or in the technical development of complex systems
- has in-depth knowledge of reliability engineering, statistical methods and technical risk management
- master the application of FMEA/FMECA, root cause analysis and other methods for systematic risk and error analysis
- have experience with Weibull distributions, Weibayes methods, shape parameters and probabilistic reliability models
- You are familiar with Wöhler curves, lifespan calculations and reliability verification of technical products
- has knowledge of failure mechanisms of mechanical, electrical and electronic components
- have experience in evaluating corrosion, material fatigue and aging processes
- Ideally, you have experience with Monte Carlo simulations as well as the development and further development of reliability models
- You work confidently with analysis tools such as Python, MATLAB or Excel/VBA
- have very good written and spoken German and English skills
- You impress with an analytical way of thinking, a structured way of working and strong communication and teamwork skills
