You will join a multidisciplinary team where data engineering, architecture, AI, analytics, governance and visualization come together. Together we help customers get more value from their data: from establishing the right data foundations to building dashboards, analytics solutions and AI use cases that support better decisions.

As a Senior Power BI Consultant you contribute to this by converting complex data into clear insights, strong data models and reporting solutions that people can really use.

You take a leading role in the implementation of our BI projects. You work end-to-end across the entire reporting lifecycle, but also take ownership of the solutions you design: from defining the data model and architecture to ensuring performance, governance and long-term maintainability. You help shape the structure and quality of the BI environment at our customers.

In addition to building dashboards, you actively coach and support colleagues in applying best practices around data modeling, DAX, visualization and deployment. You act as a reference point within the team and contribute to the further development of our internal methodology, reusable assets and standards. In addition, you work proactively with data engineers, architects and business stakeholders to realize scalable, user-friendly and impactful reporting solutions.

Requirements

We are looking for a Senior Power BI Consultant who combines strong technical expertise with a consulting mindset. You can design high-quality BI solutions, challenge business requirements where necessary, and guide colleagues towards best practices.

You have knowledge and experience in the following

• You have at least 5 years of experience within BI, of which at least 3 years of hands-on experience with Power BI.
• You can deliver end-to-end Power BI solutions: data modeling, DAX, transformations, visualization and deployment.
• You understand how to build scalable and high-performance models and apply best practices throughout the entire development lifecycle.
• You work smoothly with business stakeholders and translate needs into clear KPIs and reporting logic.
• You take responsibility for the design and quality of solutions and gain satisfaction from coaching colleagues on best practices.
• You work smoothly with Power BI Service, including workspace management, dataset governance, deployment, sharing and Row-Level Security (RLS).
• You have experience with external Power BI tools such as Tabular Editor and DAX Studio.
• You communicate smoothly with Data Engineers and understand modern data platform concepts. You can translate business requirements into technical data requirements, proactively detect possible challenges surrounding data or modeling and think about appropriate solutions.
• Experience with Azure, Databricks, Power Automate or Power Apps is a plus.
• Adding dashboards or a portfolio to your application is a plus.
• You master English and Dutch and/or French.
