Role Summary

It's Prodigy is an innovative startup, operating in the field of technological innovation, which aims to create new generation solutions and products for small, medium and large businesses.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a brilliant and innovation-oriented Python Developer to expand our backend development team. The ideal resource has a solid mastery of FastAPI, a proactive mindset towards modern AI-assisted development methodologies (Vibe Coding, Prompt Engineering) and DevOps/Cloud skills for managing scalable infrastructures.

• If you love writing clean code, leveraging AI tools to accelerate development workflow, and working on modern architectures, this is the perfect role for you.
• Design, develop and maintain high-performance REST APIs and microservices based on the FastAPI (Python) framework.
• Collaborate on the development of dynamic and experiential interfaces (backend-driven) working closely with the frontend (Flutter).
• Manage and model heterogeneous NoSQL databases (in particular MongoDB and Cassandra).
• Integrate and apply AI-assisted development and prompt engineering methodologies within the software life cycle to optimize quality and release times.
• Collaborate in managing and monitoring containerized deployment environments on Kubernetes (AWS EKS).
• Maintain and evolve continuous integration and release pipelines on GitLab CI/CD.
• Manage and track development activities via Jira and Git versioning systems.

Requirements

• Python & FastAPI: Excellent knowledge of Python and proven experience in backend development with FastAPI.
• NoSQL Databases: Hands-on experience using NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and Cassandra.
• AI & Modern Methodologies: Familiarity or strong aptitude towards AI-assisted development, Prompt Engineering applied to code and Vibe Coding methodologies.
• DevOps & Cloud: Working knowledge of Kubernetes (AWS EKS) and mastery of GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Training & Tools: Good knowledge of Git versioning systems and the Jira tool.
• Java: Basic knowledge of Java.
• Flutter: Knowledge of Flutter for understanding and integrating with backend driven dynamic interfaces.

Soft Skills appreciated

• Strong propensity for problem solving and continuous learning of new technologies.
• Aptitude for teamwork and collaboration in agile contexts (Scrum/Kanban).
• Technological curiosity towards the world of Artificial Intelligence applied to software engineering.
