Role Summary

Within our consulting firm, Sopra Steria NEXT, you will join the architecture specialty center made up of around 40 architects and participate in a community of more than 400 architects. You will have the opportunity to interact with all of our specialties dedicated to digital transformation. (Data, AI, Cloud, Agile)

Our Architecture center of expertise operates across the Sopra Steria group's historical business sectors, and combines a high-level consulting approach in IT strategy and cutting-edge expertise in Architecture, Cloud, and Data.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Manager consultant within our architecture expertise center, you will work with the IT departments of our major account clients to design and implement their IT and digital strategy:

1. Design & Innovation

• Development of innovative application and technical architectures (cloud migration, API strategy, microservices or event architecture)
• Implementation and animation of “Design authority” type governance processes on large IS programs

Definition of transformation plans to support major transformations

1. Expertise & Advice

• Audit of strategic IT investments for IT departments and business sponsors
• Role of technical expert to validate the feasibility of projects

High-level IT strategy consulting

1. Business Development & Community

• Involvement in responses to calls for tenders and defenses
• Participation in training and community activities
• Management of large-scale missions & mentoring of junior profiles

Requirements

• Graduate of an engineering school, MIAGE University, or business school with a major in computer science (Master 2)
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an IS architect, with technical authority on the creation of new IS at the heart of digital transformations
• Development background and tech lead experience (code review, guidelines, framework design)
• Proven experience in framing, design, and management of performance and/or robustness projects
• Ability to reconcile business issues with IS constraints and realities
• Autonomy, team spirit, and ability to design complex architectures adapted to customer constraints
