Role Summary
As a Senior IT Field Service Engineer (m/f/d), you will be responsible for laboratory and sampling locations in the northern region, primarily the Hamburg campus and in Kiel, and will be the contact person for IT-related questions on site and remotely. A pool vehicle is available for trips to the external locations.
You analyze, prioritize and resolve IT disruptions and are responsible for structured ticket processing and documentation.
In addition, you will be responsible for the deployment and lifecycle management of clients as well as the installation, configuration and replacement of hardware and peripheral devices.
You ensure stable, secure and compliance-compliant workplace operations, including patch management and support for endpoint security solutions.
In close collaboration with departments, business IT and international IT teams, you implement technical requirements and develop practice-oriented solutions for the locations.
In addition, you support rollouts, site conversions and infrastructure projects and take on responsibility independently
(Sub-)projects.

- To strengthen our team at Eurofins Information Systems GmbH, we are looking for you as a Senior IT Field Service Engineer (m/f/d) as a full-time, permanent position at the Hamburg location as soon as possible.
- As part of a field service team operating throughout Germany, you will be responsible for supporting users and IT remotely and on site at our laboratory and sampling locations, primarily in the northern region. You will work closely with the international service desk and operations teams.
Requirements
- You have completed training in the IT sector or a comparable qualification as well as several years of professional experience in IT field service, client management or a similar environment.
- You have in-depth knowledge of Windows Client Management and ideally have already worked with Configuration Manager (SCCM) and Microsoft Intune.
- You have very good practical knowledge of dealing with client hardware, peripheral devices, operating systems and workplace environments.
- You have a good understanding of network technologies and basic services (AD, DNS, DHCP etc.).
- You also have experience in endpoint security and compliance requirements, for example with solutions such as SentinelOne, Qualys, Cisco Umbrella, Zscaler or BitLocker.
- You are characterized by an independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working as well as strong communication skills when dealing with departments and IT colleagues.
- Very good knowledge of German and good English as well as a willingness to travel within the region and occasionally beyond round off your profile.
