Senior Front End Developer

Role Summary

Sopra Steria is specialized in developing complex applications with modern technology at the largest companies in Norway. We work with both local and national projects, and because we are the largest consulting company in Norway, you will always have access to some of the most exciting and socially critical projects. Since 2021, Sopra Steria has built up a skilled and interdisciplinary team of 200 IT consultants in Bergen. We have employees in all IT disciplines, including system development, front-end and UX, analytics, AI, cloud, infrastructure, security, project management and strategy consulting based in our new office in Nygaarden, right behind Media City Bergen.

Requirements

We are looking for you with

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the development of modern web solutions, with a focus on technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript and frameworks such as REact, Angular or Next.js.

• Desire to work technically, but with a good eye for design and good user experiences
• Some experience from backend development, preferably within Java or .NET
• Curiosity about new technology, and how it creates value for our customers
• Good collaboration skills
• Higher relevant education

Sopra Steria has clients and projects that may require security clearance at various levels, and for this role there is a requirement for a minimum of B2 Norwegian written and spoken.

• If you have additional skills in any of the following, it is only a plus:
• UX / visual design / service design
• Design-driven processes and work in interdisciplinary teams
• Universal design and design systems
• Experience with publishing solutions, preferably Sanity
