(Senior) Financial Controller (m/w/d)

Role Summary

Would you like to actively shape the financial management of a growing company and work closely with accounting and management?

As a Senior Financial Controller (m/f/d) you will take on a key role in our financial organization. You are responsible for forecasts, budget planning and cash flow analyses, further develop our reporting and support strategic decisions with well-founded analyses. You combine finance expertise with a strong understanding of processes, numbers and corporate management.

Responsibilities

Participation in monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB).

• Preparation of forecasts, budgets and scenario analyses
• Finance Business Partner for Accounting and other internal stakeholders
• Creation and monitoring of cash flow planning
• Analysis of plan-actual deviations and derivation of recommendations for action
• Further development of reporting, calculations and financial indicators
• Optimization of controlling processes and support in expanding our BI landscape
• Ensuring data quality and further development of relevant finance systems and interfaces

Requirements

Successfully completed studies with a focus on finance, controlling or accounting or comparable commercial training

Several years of professional experience in financial controlling

Sound knowledge of accounting, especially according to the German Commercial Code (HGB).

• Very good Excel skills as well as experience with ERP and BI systems
• Strong analytical skills and a high affinity for numbers
• Structured, independent and solution-oriented way of working
• Strong communication skills and the ability to convey financial issues in an understandable manner
• German at C1/C2 level and English at least at B2 level
