Senior Environmental Monitoring Inspector

Role Summary

Carry out inspections and sampling, in accordance with the Inspection Order, procedures, operating instructions and SGS instructions under the supervision of the person in charge.

Keep the Coordinator or Project Leader informed about the development of the inspection.

Participate in opening and closing meetings of the service.

Preparation of inspection documents, if applicable.

Inform the Lead Inspector, Operations Coordinator / Project Coordinator, Account Executive or Project Leader, about non-conformities during the inspection, in order to apply appropriate corrective measures.

Compliance in the entry of operational and/or travel expense reports, as well as the service deliverables, synchronization of information and others.

Carry out Quality supervisions on personnel scheduled for service and Safety, according to the risks and dangers associated with the activity.

Participate in opening and closing meetings of the service

Compliance with the 30 minimum hours of training on security issues.

Requirements

• Environmental Engineer, Chemistry, Fisheries, Biology or similar Qualified, Licensed and Certified
• Technical competence (demonstrated) in handling automatic equipment for air quality sampling (new protocol)
• Project work.
• Availability to travel.
• Time of experience in these jobs of at least 4 years.
• Qualification / Competence in sampling in the matrices of water, air, soil, noise.
• Personnel management.

Office automation: Windows environment, Excel

Preferably with A1 (3 years min.) or A2b (2 years min.) driving license.
