Our Mobility & Transport Department covers the entire life cycle of a (transportation) project - from strategic alignment to impact monitoring. We work holistically and integrate internal and external partners to develop sustainable, multimodal mobility solutions for projects in an urban context. We rely on iterative processes, transparent communication and continuous improvement.

We operate throughout Germany and serve both private and public customers. The department currently consists of around 35 employees and is organized in a matrix. In addition to three HR teams, there are six specialist forums for professional exchange between employees.

Responsibilities

As a senior engineer/project manager (m/f/d), you will take on a central role in the processing of complex traffic system projects. The focus of your work is on the development of technical and implementation-ready design and implementation documents for infrastructure measures.

• Technical/content-related and administrative management of projects for the planning of traffic systems
• Independent processing of planning services for property planning of traffic facilities according to HOAI
• Technical support for team members in the project context

Requirements

• Completed studies in civil engineering, traffic engineering or a comparable qualification
• At least 5 years of professional experience in traffic system planning (according to HOAI) and preferably in-depth experience in implementation planning and preparation for the awarding of construction services
• Structured, independent and solution-oriented way of working
• Strong communication skills and confident demeanor towards clients
• Confident use of Microsoft Office (including MS Teams) as well as knowledge of Autodesk AutoCAD / Civil 3D or ProVI
• Knowledge of ORCA AVA desirable
• Very good knowledge of German and English
• Still desirable
• Experience in planning technical equipment
• Experience in construction management and construction supervision
• Previous cycling-specific experience
• Experience in sustainable stormwater management, e.g. E.g.: surface drainage systems, trough-drainage systems, retention areas or sponge city concepts
