Senior DevOps Engineer Aerospace (m/w/d) at Sopra Steria in nationwide, Germany.
Role Summary
- With your efforts, you provide modern development and test environments and keep them reliably up to date
- Your carefully created software packages ensure that our customers are optimally served
- You routinely carry out deployments in virtual machines and bring stability to our delivery processes
- By expanding and continuously maintaining our CI/CD pipelines, you strengthen automation across the entire team
- With your eye for efficiency, you will further drive the automation of build, test and deployment processes
- You confidently implement the installation and administration of the products used - especially with Ansible
- Working closely with your team, you will develop innovative backend solutions for demanding aerospace projects
Consulting means flexibility: Your project assignment depends on our customers and your project situation - you work throughout Germany in our offices, at the customer's site and from home
Requirements
- A completed degree or in-depth training in the IT sector forms the basis for your entry
- With your experience as a DevOps engineer – or in a similar role – you bring valuable practical experience
- You understand how to manage a DevOps team professionally, specifically promote individual strengths and successfully accompany the team through challenging projects
- Knowledge of Ansible, JBoss, Marklogic and Camunda will help you design our system landscape effectively
- You will confidently master the creation and maintenance of Ansible playbooks and use them in a targeted manner
- You will work routinely with tools such as Git, Jenkins, Maven, Grafana, Prometheus and Splunk and bring transparency to development processes
- Your experience in Windows Server administration complements your technical profile perfectly
- Optional knowledge of MSSQL, Java Spring, OpenShift or cloud technologies is a plus that you can use profitably
- With your familiarity with Scrum or SAFe, you will work in a structured manner in agile projects
- Good knowledge of German and English (from B2 level) rounds off your profile
