Senior Data Software Engineer

Role Summary

We are thrilled to invite a Senior Data Software Engineer to join our team, focused on leading, managing, and architecting enhancements within our data processing framework. This role is ideal for individuals with substantial experience who are looking to deepen their expertise in a fast-paced, high-demand tech environment.

Responsibilities - Optimize complex data pipelines and the lifecycle of cloud-based services

• Implement access control and onboarding processes for new workloads to our data framework
• Oversee advanced data replication processes and cost optimization initiatives
• Execute the migration of workloads across different versions of our data framework
• Expand the data framework to meet evolving business needs
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to integrate new developments and streamline processes
• Implement enhanced CI/CD pipelines to facilitate development and deployment processes

Requirements - 3+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on data systems

• Expert proficiency in Python and advanced knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles
• Strong skills in PySpark operations and optimizing large-scale data processing
• Deep familiarity with popular cloud platforms and mastery over corresponding operations
• Advanced competency in infrastructure code tools and implementing robust processes for continuous integration and deployment
• Extensive background in data services, access management, and robust storage solutions
• Proven ability to manage high-load environments while overseeing multiple complex tasks
• In-depth understanding of data governance, quality standards, and mature CI/CD pipelines
• Fluency in English (B2 level or higher), with a strong emphasis on advanced technical communication skills

Nice to have - Experience with the migration of workloads and optimizing data frameworks for large scale systems
