Senior Data Engineer | Databricks & Snowflake

Role Summary

Infosys Brasil is looking for professionals with the profile of Senior Data Engineer | Databricks & Snowflake to join our team.

Required qualifications: - Experience working as a Data Engineer.

• Solid knowledge of Databricks, Snowflake, PySpark and Python.
• Strong command of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with data integration and pipeline development.
• Experience with CI/CD tools, such as GitHub and GitHub Actions.
• Advanced English for working in a global environment.
• Ability to analyze, problem solve and work collaboratively.

Differentiators (desirable knowledge): - Experience with Azure Cloud and Azure Data Factory.

• Knowledge of Data Analytics tools, such as Tableau or equivalent.
• Experience in agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban or similar).
• Experience with monitoring and supporting data environments.
• Knowledge of quality processes, governance and data observability.

Main activities and responsibilities: - Monitor and support data processes in a production environment.

• Investigate failures, inconsistencies and issues related to pipelines and data loads.
• Develop and maintain solutions using Databricks, Python, PySpark, Snowflake and Azure Data Factory.
• Create and track continuous improvements through user stories and development activities.
• Analyze incidents, identify root causes and implement permanent fixes.
• Work together with global teams to ensure data reliability and availability.
• Support users in analyzing problems, processing missing data and resolving operational demands.
